Beyond the humor of it all, I love your attitude... what a joy it would be if every business owner looked at things the way you do! Just one more reason why we'll keep making the sweet drive up to see all of you!Catherinehttp://purlsofhappiness.typepad.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130625691574268449.post-62433798799301696402011-04-25T15:45:34.031-07:002011-04-25T15:45:34.031-07:00Thanks, Rhea. Is this a trick question, I wondered? Will Rhea be understanding? For one half second I felt like the kid with her hand caught in the cookie jar. Weird, I know. Maybe it was because this was the first time I had bought fabric from joanns in years, and then to be caught. By. Rhea. Glad to know where you stand, and I think you know by the quilt I brought in recently that Alewives is my favorite store bar none!Tammynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130625691574268449.post-40820219071987416782011-04-23T06:07:15.718-07:002011-04-23T06:07:15.718-07:00Eeek! Hopefully it will the opposite, sending people to the independents to get more of the good stuff! I've been staying away from JoAnn's all week since I've heard the news, but I'm dying to go check it out.

In other news, I've fallen behind on the T20 quilt class, but I'm hoping to post an update this week!Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09120893022215774516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130625691574268449.post-46636186307637041182011-04-23T04:40:52.006-07:002011-04-23T04:40:52.006-07:00Shoot. Now I'll come home with piles of new fabric to add to my hoard.

Your comments are right on target. I go to Joann's for fusible fleece and 1/2 off children's craft tools but local shops for interesting fabric. And for classes and chatting about quilting.Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15175484219834008417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130625691574268449.post-24446885822745362932011-04-23T04:37:35.881-07:002011-04-23T04:37:35.881-07:00Bravo, and thank you Rhea! I would never go to Michaels or Joanne's for a crop or advice on how to use my cricut or a shop hop. However, by virtue of size there are sometimes things that I have to buy at a bigger store or the internet. Multiple stores can create a "scrapbooking" or "fabric" area where customers go from store to store.Jill Daterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05247954619452221090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130625691574268449.post-71359799290278183332011-04-22T20:48:55.704-07:002011-04-22T20:48:55.704-07:00I whole heartedly agree with Rae!I whole heartedly agree with Rae!Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11523539457001724696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1130625691574268449.post-67979740207672057452011-04-22T20:41:16.783-07:002011-04-22T20:41:16.783-07:00this is great, Rhea.
